Thai Language Learning
It is widely understood that infants learn sound units well in their mother tongue. Everyday interactions include thousands of words that naturally stimulate children to intellectually understand meanings and structure in language, unlike adults who learn language with definite structure and meaning.
Children acquire language skills through their surroundings. Often times, parents expect literacy at a very young age while using the learning methods that are fit for adults. Children acquire language skills naturally through interaction with parents and teachers. Once past infancy, children start to learn definition, spelling, and composition through story telling. This is assisted by including language learning in a joyful activity.
Tonkla School encourages our students to love to read. Thai language education is organized into the appropriate developmental stage by using picture books, story books, and all of our surroundings.
With so many things to learn, Tonkla School understands that meaningful development takes time. With our helping hands, students at our school are free to discover themselves and the world.
