Learning about numbers and data is very important because these skills are a part of every day life. Through the Open Approach Method, we focus on building a foundation of mathematical logic that will make mathematics both fun and challenging for our students. The students will not only be learners, but they will also develop into “thinkers” in order to fully reach their potential in the mathematical thinking process.
At Tonkla, we provide sustainable English learning activities with a natural learning process (Whole Language) for the preparation of the world citizen. We also place an emphasis on learning English as a second language, both inside and outside of the classroom. With our professional English speaking teachers, the children will be learning in an English focused environment. They will be enhancing their listening and speaking skills while communicating with English speaking teachers approximately 50% of overall class time each day. Reading and writing skills will also be focused on later. We believe that the natural learning process will help children learn as much of a second language as they learned their mother tongue. Then, the students will be able to communicate naturally and creatively in any environment.
Thai language is an important life skill for Thai people as it connects them with their community. It is also a tool for uncovering knowledge and information, both from the past and present. Learning Thai language will help children develop aesthetic ideas through learning about fairy tales, short stories, poems, literature, local knowledge and situations that occur in every day life. This will help the students to better understand the origin and meaning of the various elements of Thai language and will also help them communicate their feelings and imagination more effectively.

Art is the subject that encourages students to express creativity in their work. It will help them develop physically, psychologically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. By using art, we understand students’ emotions towards what they see, hear, touch, smell and taste. It digs deeper into their imaginations, and it encourages them to access their natural state of creativity.
Physical Education is a fine balance between the physical movements and the mind. By learning through games, rhythm activities, and land and water sports, students can control their own mind to move more firmly. They will also learn about sharing, leadership, teamwork, and how to respect and follow rules. All of these qualities are important to the foundation of living a happy life in society.
Music and Dance
Learning music and dance will allow students to practice listening, singing, dancing, and "learning by doing". In addition, music helps the students understand the relationship of the wisdom and values that accompany Thai and international music.
